The African Book Festival happens on October 26th and 27th 2012. The keynote speaker is acclaimed novelist and lecturer Abdulrazak Gurnah.
The Curators of the African Book Festival 2012 have spoken word from the likes of Warsan Shire and Kayo Chingonyi, a publishing panel with Goretti Kyomuhendo and Ellah Allfrey (introduced by journalist 
Belinda Otas), fiction with Alistair Bruce, non-fiction with Hannah Pool and a FREE African Futures Carousel, where they will showcase what is hot and yet-to-come out of Africa’s literary vaults.
