I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Research & Study Centre “Dynamics of Change” and lecture French Literature and Media Studies at the University of Mannheim. My research is dedicated to African publishing and literary trends within African (and especially French speaking) literatures as well as book market evolutions on a global scale. I obtained my PhD in 2013, at the Université de Lorraine (France) in partnership with University of Yaounde 1 (cotutelle). My thesis “Le marché du livre africain et ses dynamiques littéraires. Le cas du Cameroun” appeared in 2015 (Presses Universitaires de Bordeaux) and focuses on the position of African publishing industry in the global book market. I am currently a research associate at the centre “Les Afriques dans le monde” (LAM UMR 5115 CNRS / Sciences Po Bordeaux – France) and at the Centre de recherche “Écritures” (EA 3943, Université de Lorraine – France).
